Arboretum Place Impact Analysis

Clark Realty Capital is proposing to develop Arboretum Place, the first major new residential development on the eastern end of the H Street corridor. Clark Realty Capital assembled almost five acres of land bounded by Maryland Avenue, K Street, Bladensburg Road and Neal Street, N.E.. The proposed project would include 430 luxury apartments and 4,500 net square feet of retail space, bringing vitality and market support for the retail clusters that anchor H Street and the revitalized Hechinger Mall. PES documented both the project’s potential fiscal and economic benefits, including job creation and tax revenues to the District.
